AB  - This study systematically analyses and summarises the theories related with the "sponge city concept" to deal with the issues of stormwater in urban areas based in the idea of "bioetention". In addition, this study applies the theorie into a landscape planning project in Leinfelde-Worbis, in which a "stormwater treatment train" is created with a variety of rainwater management facilities such as green roof, bio-swale, filter strip and rain garden.
