TY - BOOK AU - Jordan, Albrecht PY - 2010 DA - 2010// TI - GIS-based interpolation methods for soil CO2 respiration data in a temperate deciduous forest AB - The sufficient estimation of the range of soil respiration requires a combination of randomized and double nested sampling approaches and the appropriate incorporation of additional parameters. Extensive pre-studies are nessesary to estimate range distances which should govern the final sampling design. Seasonal controls facilitates the interpolation of soil respiration measurements. Calculated relative fine root biomass derived from aboveground stand characteristics were related to total soil respiration data. Significant correlations were found with ash fine-roots in summer.
