AB  - This work is a contribution to the chemistry of different types of silyl enol ethers which were applied to the regioselective synthesis of functionalized salicylates, isotetronic acids, and alkylidene-isobenzofurans. In addition, the competition between the recently developed domino Staudinger / semi-aza-Wittig / fragmentationʺ reaction of γ-azido-ß-hydroxyketones and the normal aza-Wittig reaction pathway was studied.
