This thesis develops and analyzes grid-forming control for wind turbines, enabling inertia emulation and participation in voltage and frequency regulation. System-split cases are investigated to assess the minimum required grid-forming units, considering load dynamics and turbine operating point. Trendlines indicate that loads characteristic strongly influence the results under similar disturbances, highlighting their importance in network analysis.
