AB  - In this thesis, novel glucose-derived salts with diverse structures were synthesized in short steps. These salts were applied as organocatalysts in an aza-Diels-Alder reaction, as precursors for the synthesis of Palladium catalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction and as phase-transfer catalysts for a biphasic Kolbe nitrile synthesis. In all three topic the investigation of the structure-activity relationships between the structure of the glucose-derived salt and its activity in the aforementioned catalytic reactions have been the key point of research.<eng>
