The aerosol compositional data was aquired by applying a high resolution time of flight aerosol mass spectrometer (HR-Tof AMS). The secondary organic aerosol (SOA) from a euro 6d compliant car was found to be a result of oxidation of Toluene, Xylenes and Trymethylbenzenes emited at speeds <80km/h due to incomplete combustion. A marine engine was run with both 0.5 and 0.1% sulfur fuel content, however total SOA form remained similar.
