While common in low-power applications, high-power uses face challenges due to high inductance in commutation loops. The 4SiC hybrid ANPC is better for high-power use, while the 2SiC struggles. This dissertation addresses challenges in the 2SiC topology, proposing solutions validated by a 500kW experimental model.
