The properties of the mild solution for different initial conditions are studied. The analytical part of the work ends with the presentation of the linearized equation and a stability analysis. In addition, the equations are solved numerically using the continuation method. The algorithm is tested on the isothermal quantum hydrodynamic equations and compared with the literature. The results of the time-dependent problem and a current-voltage characteristic are presented.
