In this thesis, we firstly found PM, collected from different districts, contained diverse PAHs, and exhibited different toxic and mutagenic equivalent. To understand how PM from different sources impact cells and which components play a key role in the observed adverse effects, in vitro experiments on distinct cell types were conducted.
