  <abstract type="Summary">Die Studie zielt darauf ab, die GICs im deutschen Hochspannungsnetz zu modellieren, das der Teil des Stromnetzes ist, der hauptsächlich von diesen Strömen betroffen ist. Die GIC-Berechnungen sind im Allgemeinen in zwei Teile gegliedert: den geophysikalischen Teil, der darauf abzielt, das induzierte geoelektrische Feld aus dem GMD-Input abzuschätzen, und den ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Teil, der sich auf die Berechnung des im elektrischen Netz fließenden Stroms auf der Grundlage des abgeschätzten geoelektrischen Feldes bezieht.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">The study aims to model the GICs in the German high-voltage grid, which is the part of the power grid primarily affected by these currents. The GIC calculations are generally divided into two parts: the geophysical part, which aims to estimate the induced geoelectric field from the GMD input, and the engineering part, which is based on the calculation of the current flowing in the electrical grid of the estimated geoelectric field.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
