  <abstract type="Summary">Understanding the transport properties of light elements like hydrogen and heavy elements such as iron plays an important role in astrophysics in the dynamo processes in planets and stars. While the material properties of hydrogen and iron are very well known under normal conditions, they are mainly unknown under conditions in gas giant planets, stars, or even in the center of our Earth. This work investigates the electrical and thermal conductivity of hydrogen and iron under these extreme conditions using ab initio methods and analytical conductivity models.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">Das Verständnis der Transporteigenschaften von leichten und schweren Elementen, wie Wasserstoff und Eisen spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei den Dynamoprozessen in Planeten und Sternen. Während die Materialeigenschaften dieser Elemente unter Normalbedingungen sehr gut verstanden sind, sind diese unter Bedingungen in Gasriesen, Sternen oder selbst im Zentrum unserer Erde größtenteils unbekannt. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der elektrischen und thermischen Leitfähigkeit von Wasserstoff und Eisen unter extremen Bedingungen unter Verwendung von Ab-initio-Methoden und analytischen Modellen.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
