  <abstract type="Summary">Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt die Synthese und Charakterisierung verschiedener Polyelektrolyte. Die Polyelektrolyte wurden dazu auf mögliche biomedizinische Anwendungen angepasst. In der Arbeit wurde Polyvinylbenzylchlorid für mögliche Anwendungen getestet. Aus PVBC wurden sowohl Polymerfilme, als auch elektrogesponnene Materialien hergestellt. Die mechanischen und die biokompatiblen Eigenschaften dieser Materialien wurden untersucht. Ebenfalls wurde die Einlagerung und Freisetzung von Wirkstoffen aus diesen Materialien untersucht.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">This thesis summarizes the synthesis and characterization of various polyelectrolytes. The polyelectrolytes were adapted to possible biomedical applications. In the the work, polyvinyl benzyl chloride was tested for possible applications. Both polymer films and electrospun materials were produced from polyvinyl benzyl chloride. The mechanical and biocompatible properties of these materials were investigated. The incorporation and release of active substances from these materials was also investigated.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
