  <abstract type="Summary">On the potential for seasonal to decadal (S2D) predictions for Baltic Sea physics. MOM6 was used to compute a large ensemble of the Baltic Sea. The ensemble was analyzed regarding predictability timescales of salinity, temperature and ice cover. Therefore memory timescales of these variables were identified and an attempt was made to predict future forcing on the Sea using a novel subsampling method.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">Zum Potential saisonaler bis dekadischer (S2D) Vorhersagen der Physik der Ostsee. MOM6 wurde genutzt, um ein großes Ensemble der Ostsee zu berechnen. Dieses Ensemble wurde hinsichtlich Vorhersagbarkeits-Zeitskalen von Salzgehalt, Temperatur und Eisbedeckung analysiert. Dabei haben wir die Zeitskalen des Erinnerungsvermögen dieser Variablen identizfiziert und mithilfe einer Subsampling-Methode Vorhersagen des zukünftigen Antriebs der Ostsee erstellt.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
