  <abstract type="Summary">It is still unclear, how global primary production in the ocean will respond to climate change. In this thesis, the future and importance of dinitrogen fixation in relation to other nitrogen assimilation processes in a changing ocean was studied in a multi-stressor (pH and temperature) laboratory experiment with the two globally significant N2 fixers Crocosphaera watsonii and Trichodesmium sp. and during a cruise to the Amazon River plume. Results from this thesis can help to improve global models on the future of primary production and CO2 fixation in the ocean.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">Es ist noch unklar, wie die globale Primärproduktion im Ozean auf den Klimawandel reagieren wird. In dieser Arbeit wurden die Zukunft und die Bedeutung der Stickstofffixierung im Verhältnis zu anderen Stickstoffassimilationsprozessen in einem sich verändernden Ozean in einem Laborexperiment mit mehreren Stressoren (pH und Temperatur) mit den beiden N2-Fixierern Crocosphaera watsonii und Trichodesmium sp. und in der Amazonas-Flussfahne untersucht. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit können dazu beitragen, globale Modelle über die Zukunft der Primärproduktion und CO2-Bindung im Ozean zu verbessern.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
