  <abstract type="Summary">The present thesis contributes to a better understanding of one of the most promising catalysts for the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reaction, i.e., MnOx-Na2WO4/SiO2. Oxygen species involved in selective and unselective pathways were investigated using O2 and N2O as the oxidants. Spatially resolved and steady-state kinetic analyses combined with oxygen isotopic exchange tests were used to identify the activity-defining descriptor over M2WO4/SiO2 (M=Na, K, Rb, or Cs). The effects of alkali metal for both bi- and trimetallic compositions on activity and selectivity were established&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">Diese Arbeit trägt zu einem besseren Verständnis eines der vielversprechendsten Katalysatoren für die oxidative Kopplung von Methan bei, nämlich MnOx-Na2WO4/SiO2. Unter Verwendung von O2 und N2O als Oxidationsmittel wurden Sauerstoffspezies untersucht, die an selektiven und unselektiven Wegen beteiligt sind. Der aktivitätsbestimmende Deskriptor über M2WO4/SiO2 (M=Na, K, Rb oder Cs) wurde identifiziert. Der Einfluss des Alkalimetalls auf Aktivität und Selektivität für bi- und trimetallische Zusammensetzungen wurden ermittelt.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
