  <abstract type="Summary">Die Arbeit verbessert grundlegend das Verständnis der Gehirnentwicklung und zeigt Sauerstoff und Noradrenalin als Schlüsselfaktoren der fetalen Neurogenese auf. Zudem wurde ein bislang gänzlich unbekannter Regulationsmechanismus der initialen Anzahl an kortikalen Neuronen durch Mikroglia entdeckt.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">The work fundamentally improves the understanding of brain development and reveals oxygen and norepinephrine as key factors in fetal neurogenesis. In addition, a previously unknown regulatory mechanism of the initial number of cortical neurons by microglia was discovered.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
