  <abstract type="Summary">In this thesis, BaZr0.7Ce0.2Y0.1O3-δ was synthesized by spark plasma sintering (SPS). In an extensive study, SPS process parameters and their influence on the material properties were systematically investigated to provides a better understanding of the sintering mechanisms occurring during SPS. Additionally, the proton diffusion and their confinement within the crystal structure were investigated by neutron spectroscopy. As an outlook, a proof of concept with an SPS process for co-sintering of membrane-electrode-assemblies with an application in protonic ceramic electrolysers is given.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">In dieser Arbeit wurde der Protonenleiter BaZr0.7Ce0.2Y0.1O3-δ mittels des Spark Plasma Sinterns (SPS) hergestellt. In einer umfangreichen Studie wurden die SPS Prozessparameter und deren Auswirkungen auf die Materialeigenschaften systematisch untersucht, um einen Beitrag zum besseren Verständnis der dem Sinterprozess zugrundeliegenden Mechanismen zu leisten. Zusätzlich wurden die Diffusion und Einbindungen der Protonen im Kristallgitter durch Neutronen Spektroskopie untersucht.  Als Ausblick liegt ein erstes Proof-of-Concept für einen Co-Sinterprozess von Membran-Elektroden-Einheiten vor.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
