  <abstract type="Summary">Zur photokatalytischen Herstellung von Wasserstoff aus Wasser werden neben Katalysatoren auch Lichtsammeleinheiten (Photosensibilisatoren) benötigt. In dieser Arbeit werden mit ultraschneller Anrege-Abfrage-Spektroskopie Metallkomplexe auf Basis von Chrom, Eisen und Kupfer auf ihre Eignung als Photosensibilisatoren untersucht.&lt;ger&gt;</abstract>
  <abstract type="Summary">A photocatalytic system, which generates solar fuels like hydrogen, requires, besides the catalyst, a photosensitizer. This light harvesting unit absorbs the sun light and supplies the catalytic system with energy to keep the reaction cycle going. This thesis focuses on photosensitizers based on chromium, iron, and copper. Ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy is used to get insight into the relaxation processes following photo absorption.&lt;eng&gt;</abstract>
