Diese Arbeit untersucht die politische und wirtschaftliche Transformation der Ukraine von 1991 bis 2013. Mit Hilfe verschiedener Transformationstheorien werden die Entwicklungen im ukrainischen Transformationsprozess analysiert und bewertet. Schlussendlich zeigt die Arbeit auf, an welchen Stellen die Transformation der Ukraine scheiterte und warum das Land im Zustand einer defekten Demokratie mit einer nicht funktionierenden Wirtschaft verharrt.<ger>
This paper examines the political and economic transformation of Ukraine from 1991 until 2013. Based on different theories of transformation developments of the Ukrainian transformationprocess are analysed. Eventually this dissertation reveals in which fields the transformation proccess of Ukraine failed and why the country remains in a state of a damaged democracy with a not functional economy upon this day.<eng>
