This thesis introduces the Discrete Stochastic Model (DStM), a measurement-driven approach achieving 84% higher accuracy and 100x faster simulation than existing models. Integrated into the modular virtual prototyping platform (MeSSi), these contributions enable technology-aware exploration of memristor-based architectures. Ultimately, this work establishes a scalable, reliability-focused methodology for designing the next generation of non-volatile memory and computing systems. %L 004 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005772 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005772 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005772-4 %U https://d-nb.info/1418060100/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005772
