While the material properties of hydrogen and iron are very well known under normal conditions, they are mainly unknown under conditions in gas giant planets, stars, or even in the center of our Earth. This work investigates the electrical and thermal conductivity of hydrogen and iron under these extreme conditions using ab initio methods and analytical conductivity models. %L 500 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005672 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005672 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005672
