%X The intention of this thesis is to analyze the influencing factors of care, social networks and cognition in the context of health and mortality in old age. As part of this, relevant risk and protective factors in the course of dementia are analyzed and evaluated. In addition, existing care measures will be examined for effectiveness and appropriateness in the context of current care needs in order to identify potential gaps in care.<eng>
