Using fluidic oscillators, which create oscillating jets without moving parts, the study focuses on experimental modeling using a FitzHugh-Nagumo-based system, and implementation on a rudder model. Results show the oscillators effectively delay flow separation, potentially lowering fuel consumption and improving ship handling. The study highlights the promise of AFC for greener, more efficient maritime operations. %L 620 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005533 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005533 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005533
