The dissertation highlights that rewetting is a task for society as a whole, involving a profound, multidimensional transition. The end of drainage should be actively shaped politically and requires binding phase-out targets, sufficient funding and targeted communication. Peatland rewetting is analysed as an exnovation governance problem and compared with the Germany coal phase-out. %L 333.7 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005156 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005156 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005156-9 %U https://d-nb.info/1393157122/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005156
