Initially, the release of CO2 was investigated through the photomediated pyrimidopteridine-catalyzed hydro- and deuterodecarboxylation of pharmaceutically relevant carboxylic acids. Furthermore, the thesis outlines an approach for CO2 capture involving the chemical modification of waste material, specifically nylon-6. The methodologies employed in this thesis further involves rational nitrogen-based ligand design. %L 540 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005032 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005032 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005032-3 %U https://d-nb.info/138507521X/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005032
