Overall, N2O emissions were small and fluctuated strongly, and hotspots/ hot moments appeared to have a strong influence on N2O emissions. It was found that N2O could be reduced to N2 at all sites. Both nitrification and denitrification processes contributed to the production of N2O at all sites and took place simultaneously. Large N2O emissions were found for soils samples that had to be dried before the incubation experiment due to an extremely high water content. %L 500 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00005014 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005014 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005014-3 %U https://d-nb.info/1383790973/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005014
