However, flood-related information and flood damage have not been recorded and estimated due to limited resources. This study proposes a new method using citizen science to collect flood data. It also combines citizen science, remote sensing, fieldwork, and literature to create flood hazard maps and assess agricultural flood damage in Vietnam’s Bui River Basin. This study presents innovative approaches to closing the flood-related data gap and improving flood risk assessment in data-poor areas. %L 550 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004833 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004833 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004833-5 %U https://d-nb.info/1376539071/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004833
