Main insights were gained by molecular techniques, including N-ChIP-qPCR, RNA-seq, and X-ChIP-seq. Both cell types upregulated immune genes in response to pathogen contact. The findings revealed significantly different gene expression and peaks for H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 between MAC-T and pbMEC. Moreover, the genome-wide data indicated epigenetic control of upregulated genes after the Escherichia coli challenge in pbMEC. %L 500 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004844 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004844 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004844-8 %U https://d-nb.info/1370896042/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004844
