The process stability is significantly dependent on controlling the VOA/alkalinity ratio. A physicochemical model was developed to study the interrelation of VOA accumulation with a ratio of VOA/Alkalinity, alkalinity, pH, pCO2, and concentration of un-dissociated HAc. The implemented full-scale biogas plant proved to be economically viable and contributed to sustainable energy production. %L 540 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004600 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004600 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004600-2 %U https://d-nb.info/1343646782/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004600
