Key findings include the mackerel scad's year-round spawning in the Sulawesi Sea and earlier maturation in areas with higher fishing pressure. Parasite analysis revealed distinct mackerel scad stocks in eastern Indonesia. Similarly, distinct stocks of narrow-barred Spanish mackerel were identified in different locations based on the parasite fauna. These findings highlight the need for management strategies for each stock to ensure sustainability. %L 570 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004667 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004667 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004667-8 %U https://d-nb.info/1340789140/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004667
