We studied how they adapt to reduced P intake. Age and strain effects were significant for sensitivity to reduced P. While chicks are most affected by P depletion, older birds can compensate. Gut microbiota seem to play a minor role in P efficiency in the organsimal biosystem. Reducing P supply is possible but requires careful planning for optimal health and production. %L 590 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004618 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004618 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004618-2 %U https://d-nb.info/1334986606/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004618
