In this work effective carrier-coupled antisense peptide nucleic acids (PNAs) against S. pneumoniae were identified. The counteranion pyrenebutyrate was investigated for its ability to improve uptake of CPP-PNAs in streptococci. Furthermore, transcriptomic effects of CPP-PNA on streptococci were examined. As Galleria mellonella is an increasingly popular infection model organism, additionally the S. pyogenes specific immune response of the larvae was investigated using a proteomics approach. %L 500 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004509 %U https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004509 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004509-4 %U https://d-nb.info/131537935X/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004509
