In recent years, sophisticated animal models were created to study human diseases. However, the assessment of distress in these animal models is scarce. In order to provide a solid basis for optimizing animal welfare in future studies, body weight, burrowing, nesting activity, faecal corticosterone metabolites (FCMs), and distress scores were analyzed in several animal models. %L 570 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00004344 %U http://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004344 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004344-6 %U https://d-nb.info/1297583035/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004344
