%X In recent decades, international immigration has led to an increase in population diversity and a change in health profiles in Germany. This dissertation examines which determinants contribute to health inequalities in the context of a migrant background in Germany. The special focus is on the analysis of social and socio-structural characteristics to explain health differences between people with and without a migration background and within the population with a migration background.<eng>
