A numerical model is used to perform a hind-cast simulation of the exchange flow of the Persian Gulf. The exchange flow of the Persian Gulf with the Indian Ocean is investigated and quantified by using a thermohaline framework. Furthermore, the salt mixing is analyzed which can be diagnosed from the properties of the exchange flow and the driving surface fluxes. %L 530 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00002995 %U http://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00002995 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00002995-1 %U https://d-nb.info/1293663107/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00002995
