We found that two simultaneous effects occur in water: an electrochemical degradation and a photocatalytic degradation of the pollutants. Furthermore, the existence of a synergetic effect was observed which is explained by the electron-hole pair separation in the electric field which increases the lifetime, even when the electric field is small. %L 530 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00002963 %U http://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00002963 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00002963-9 %U https://d-nb.info/1293533939/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00002963
