In presence of bacterial volatiles anti-oxidant enzymes were activated indicating the presence of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in fungal cells. Non-enzymatic lipid peroxidation suggested the disruption of fungal membrane integrity. The fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum produced one typical volatile called labda-8 (20),12,14-triene. The ammonia emitted by S. plymuthica 4Rx13 could inhibit fungal growth and evoke oxidative stress in fungi. %L 577.57 %9 theses %9 Text %9 Hochschulschrift %R 10.18453/rosdok_id00002040 %U http://rosdok.uni-rostock.de/resolve/urn/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-diss2018-0034-6 %U https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-diss2018-0034-6 %U https://d-nb.info/129365177X/34 %U https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00002040
