In der FNAIT-Studie konnte gezeigt werden, dass im Vergleich zu historischen Daten Anti-HPA-1a weiterhin am häufigsten auftrat, Anti-HPA-5b jedoch signifikant seltener vorkam. Mütter mit nachweisbarem Anti-HPA-1a waren im Vergleich zur Normalbevölkerung signifikant seltener RhD-negativ. In der Anti-HPA-1a-Studie konnte keine Korrelation zwischen Antikörperkonzentration und neonataler Thrombozytopenie gefunden werden, jedoch zwischen Antikörperkonzentration und milden Blutungszeichen des Neugeborenen.<ger> Neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (NAIT) is a rare disease of the newborn.
