abstract="Domino amination/conjugate addition reactions have been used to synthesize a new class of 4-quinolones. An efficient route for the synthesis of benzo[b]pyrazolo[5,1-f][1,6]naphthyridines via silver triflate-catalyzed one-pot tandem reactions has also been developed which proceeds with good functional group tolerance under mild conditions with high efficiency and excellent selectivity. A high yielding route for the synthesis of fluorinated arenes, which are difficult to obtain, has been developed by direct acyl-alkylation of benzyne.",
