This study investigates the stock structure of the commercially most important squids Illex coindetii and Loligo forbesii in the North East Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. Using statolith shape and microchemical analyses as well as age determination, distinct stocks and migration patterns were identified. the results provide a basis for sustainable management and highlight deficits in European cephalopod assessment.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Bianca Tanja Carina Bobowski", note="Enth{\"a}lt Zeitschriftenartikel", note="GutachterInnen: Inna Sokolova (Universit{\"a}t Rostock, Institut f{\"u}r Biowissenschaften) ; Daniel Oesterwind (Th{\"u}nen Institut f{\"u}r Ostseefischerei) ; Stefan Richter (Universit{\"a}t Rostock, Institut f{\"u}r Biowissenschaften)", note="Dissertation Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2026 Kumulative Dissertation", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00005705", url="https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005705", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005705", language="English" }
