A genetic screen identified ILP1, an upstream regulator of anthocyanin biosynthesis with poorly understood metabolic roles. Multi-omics and physiological analyses showed that ilp1 mutants under high light accumulate excess sugars and low amino acids, disrupting carbon--nitrogen balance. ILP1, particularly its GC-rich DNA-binding domain, represses sugar buildup. Spliceosomal mutants NTR1, PRL1, and PRP8 share similar phenotypes, revealing the spliceosome's key role in metabolic regulation during acclimation.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Gali Estopare Araguirang", note="GutachterInnen: Andreas Richter (Institut f{\"u}r Biowissenschaften, Universit{\"a}t Rostock) ; Ekkehard Neuhaus (Fachbereich Biologie, RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau)", note="Dissertation Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2025", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00005424", url="https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005424", url="https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005424-6", url="https://d-nb.info/1397495243/34", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005424", language="English" }
