Catalyst deactivation via coking, poisoning, and re-oxidation were the main challenges. Therefore, various formulations were designed to optimize key features of the catalysts. A novel MgO-Al$_2$O$_3$ support (WI.800) was developed, which led to materials with higher activity and coke resistance vs. commercial counterparts. Thus, NiLaGa/WI.800 outstood in methane reforming and impurity tolerance, displaying real-world application potential.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Santiago Sebastian Gonzalez", note="GutachterInnen: Sebastian Wohlrab (Leibniz Institute for Catalysis e.V.) ; Andr{\'e} Von-Held Soares (Fluminense Federal University, Brazil)", note="Dissertation Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2025", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00005267", url="https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005267", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005267", language="English" }
