This study investigates Heart Rate Variability (HRV) as an objective biomarker for Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A comparison between patients and healthy controls during a simulated EMDR therapy revealed significantly reduced activity in the LF (Low Frequency) and HF (High Frequency) frequency bands in those affected. The results demonstrate that HRV is a valuable tool for analyzing the autonomic nervous system and for the objective differentiation of PTSD patients.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Truong An Nguyen", note="GutachterInnen: Kristian Schultz (SBI -- Department of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics) ; Olaf Wolkenhauer (SBI -- Department of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics) ; Valeska Pape (Klinik und Poliklinik f{\"u}r Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie Department f{\"u}r Psychosoziale Medizin)", note="Bachelorarbeit Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2026", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00005058", url="https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005058", url="https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005058-6", url="https://d-nb.info/138882745X/34", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005058", language="English" }
