This thesis identified welfare bioindicators significantly affected in Atlantic salmon under changing farming conditions due to new farming strategies and fed with microalgae-enriched diets. The changing farming conditions triggered only mild stress and immune responses in the fish. Microalgae have species-specific effects on fish health, and their mitigation potential is limited on the effects of changing farming conditions. This thesis advances the assessment of the welfare status of Atlantic salmon.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Doret Rosie van Muilekom", note="Enth{\"a}lt Zeitschriftenartikel", note="GutachterInnen: Tom Goldammer (Research Institute for Farm Animal Biology (FBN)) ; Inna Sokolova (University of Rostock) ; Matthias St{\"o}ck (The Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB))", note="Dissertation Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2024 Kumulative Dissertation", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00005052", url="https://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00005052", url="https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00005052-6", url="https://d-nb.info/1387205498/34", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00005052", language="English" }
