abstract="The mesosphere and lower thermosphere constitute a dynamic and complex system characterized by strong winds and varying temperatures. The focus of investigating long-term wind dynamics is set on the summer season, and a time series spanning 17-33 years is obtained by combining radars at middle and high latitudes. These measurements are used to investigate the long-term summer length, wind maxima, variability, and oscillations. Significant trends show an earlier onset of the mesospheric summer and changes in the wind circulation at middle latitudes.<eng>",
