Main insights were gained by molecular techniques, including N-ChIP-qPCR, RNA-seq, and X-ChIP-seq. Both cell types upregulated immune genes in response to pathogen contact. The findings revealed significantly different gene expression and peaks for H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 between MAC-T and pbMEC.
