abstract="The ``Who Produces German Films? Gender Report 2009--2013'' analyzes differences between films directed by men and women in terms of funding, budget, box office, and festival success. Examining German feature films from 2009--2013 using data from the German Federal Film Board (FFA), the study reveals that women-directed films represent only one-fifth of productions, receive less funding and smaller budgets. Despite this, they garner acclaim, winning more awards and participating in more festivals, indicating a notable disparity in recognition and support within German film production.<eng>",
