After reviewing deflecting structures, an RF cavity was chosen as the optimal solution. Extensive electromagnetic and multiphysics analysis were conducted to optimize the cavity design. A copper deflecting cavity was manufactured and underwent rigorous high-power testing, successfully meeting the design requirements.
