@Book{1831239965, author="Kopf, Sara", title="Development of hydrogen isotope exchange methodologies for the deuteration of aromatic substrates", year="2022", address="Rostock", abstract="This thesis entails the development of practical and cost-efficient deuteration methodologies. The first C--H activation and deuteration of aromatic substrates using an earth-abundant manganese catalyst and transient directing groups was reported. Secondly, the transient directing group strategy was transferred to a ruthenium-catalyzed hydrogen isotope exchange reaction. Lastly, the electronic characteristics of pyridine derivatives were harnessed for a transition metal-free deuteration protocol. The results are expected to inspire future developments in sustainable hydrogen isotope exchange.", school="Universit{\"a}t Rostock", note="vorgelegt von Sara Kopf", note="Enth{\"a}lt Zeitschriftenartikel", note="GutachterInnen: Matthias Beller (Leibniz-Institut f{\"u}r Katalyse e.V., Rostock) ; Gr{\'e}gory Pieters (CEA Paris-Saclay) ; Matthias Tamm (TU Braunschweig)", note="Dissertation Universit{\"a}t Rostock 2022 Kumulative Dissertation", doi="10.18453/rosdok_id00004135", url="http://purl.uni-rostock.de/rosdok/id00004135", url="https://nbn-resolving.org/urn:nbn:de:gbv:28-rosdok_id00004135-3", url="https://d-nb.info/1293540013/34", url="https://doi.org/10.18453/rosdok_id00004135", language="English" }
